— 'Libidinal/Sexual energy is SUBLIMATED in the Psyche to create &construct 'barriers and inhibitions' against Sexuality &Perversions and against earlier forms(oral, anal, phallic)stages of sexual expression and pleasure

— Libidinal Object: still the Genitalia, yet during this period, its function is temporarily PARALYZED

During this stage(Children Primary School period),

—SuperEgo continues to develop while ID's libidinal energies are suppressed

—Mainly the psyche 'equilibrium' is dominated by Ego and SuperEgo

—Sexual Energies are sublimated into 'Brain Neurimotility', contributing to development of social skills, hobbies, values and relationships with peers and adults outside of the family

—'Libido Drive' is diverted on 'intellectual pursuits and social interactions'

—Likely for children to become 'Fixated' or 'Stuck' in this phase if not properly developed, which can result in 'Lack of Self-Confidence', 'Immaturity and Inability to form fulfilling relationships as an adult'
